Sprints

Sprints is a feature used to support Agile ways of working. They are associated with a workflow and are made up of tasks. Tasks have an “estimation” property which is used when calculating the total amount of effort within a sprint.

Every day, Flow will calculate a total amount of points delivered so far and this is used to provide you with a linear burn-down chart. This provides some indication to the team as to if they are on track to complete the sprint as expcted.

Flow will keep track of historical sprint data including previous goals, committed points and achieved points. This can be useful when forecasting available capacity for future sprints.

If you create sprints ahead of time, Flow will take their proposed start & end dates and show them on any associated timeline views. This can be useful when planning how projects align with the team’s sprints.

Estimation points

Flow has a live voting poker / estimation tool included. You can start and join a session by clicking the “live estimations” button from inside any task.

This will take you to an estimation session where you can democratically vote for a task’s estimation.
